Joshua 1:9 "Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
On August 29, 1947, my mom and dad were married. They were both 18. I am thankful for them; their love for each other; and for their Godly example. My story certainly wouldn't be the same without the commitment they made to each other on this date, and throughout their lives. Thanks mom & dad. Lisa and I are both so grateful for your influence in our lives.
Randy & Lisa Carr August 29, 2020 PS: As you may recall from a past blog post, my dad passed away in 1982. At that point, my parents had been married 34 years. Many have asked, "How's your mom?" She is 91 years old, and has lived close to us since 1995. In June, she fell and broke her hip. At that time, she had been living in a residential care home, but she is now in a skilled nursing facility just down the road from us. While her recovery has been slow, her spirits are generally pretty good. The COVID-19 restrictions have added some challenges to her caregiving, but we have seen God provide. Thanks so much for your prayers and concern. Next: September 11 - "The Pause" Photo Credits: Carr Collection Comments are closed.
